Damaad Ajay Devgan was on the hotline, concerned by sasurji'' health. Ajay was shooting for 'Raincoat' in Calcutta and even made a flying trip to Mumbai to check if all was well. But the shooting in mishti doi land too was infested with small doses of action. Aishwarya Rai, the heroine of 'Raincoat', must have realised that when it rains, it pours accidents.
After her little toe, it was her little finger, which hogged the headlines. The lady cut her finger during a shot and it began to bleed incessantly. To put a stop to it, first aid was called for, and the wound bandaged. The wound had healed but Ash's sorrows had not ended.
Perfectionist director Rituparno Ghosh insisted that his heroine wear the bandage in the name of continuity. Life is about wounds and reminders, we all know!
