Mallika's Making Waves
Mallika Sherawat's the new bombshell on the block. She's like one of those Cluster Bombs. Her explosion has immense reach. There's a lot of sharpnel too. She sent some out in Kareena's direction and some in Ash's. Here's what started it.
Granted that temperatures were soaring, and added to that was Mallika sending human mercury levels up the spout with her steamy stuff in Murder.
Word spread quickly when Kareena and friends left a screening of Murder midway because they found the scenes Too Sleazy fo comfort. Of course Mallika heard of it and pat came her retort. "Oh, then Kareena must've found her grandfather's films like Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Ram Teri Ganga Maili too sleazy as well!"
Kareena, who is now very Politically Conscious, was quick to clarify that her friends left halfway through the film, but she sat on till the end.
The strange thing is Mallika is just like how Kareena used to be. Shoot from the lip, then retract when things got too hot. Right now, Mallika's on a roll. She's not retracting anything.
She takes any criticism of her role in Murdeer as a personal cut and shes ready with a Lighting strike. Recently Aishwarya murmured about "these new girls showing skin and exposing their bodies just to get noticed."
"Of course, she's right," Mallika instantly countered. "Ash gas a good face which is why she shows it. I have a Good Body, so I show it. The day she covers her face, I'll cover my body." Whoops.
She has one cheerleader though: Bipasha Bsu. Bips is thrilled that Mallika's pulled a major coup and ousted her from her sex bomb throne. She says," I'm feeling jaded now loking at Mallika. I've been watching er and she really Sizzles.
I really admire her spirit and I'm rooting for her!"Murder has taken a 100 per cent initial at the box-office even though this film has no big names.
"If the world and society can accept Viagra to invoke Desire, then what problems do the same people have with my audio visual drug that gets the same response?" Mallika said.
The girl reminds me of Siddhu, the cricket commentator. Like him she too spouts the strangest stuff. The man has serious competition.
