A prayer for India
Johnny Lever will soon be heard crooning for a pop album called Pray For India (P4i). And, no, he's not trying to be funny, just melodious. P4I is an album produced and composed by Anil Kant.
It also has songs sung by Pankaj Udhas. When we asked Anil why he deceided to recruit Johnny as a singer, he said, "Johnny Lever and I are good friends.
I have seen him perform at shows abroad and imitate the likes of Anup Jalota. He sings quite well. Through P4I, I want people to know that prayers need not be serious. They can be fun too." And who better than Johnny Lever to spread that message!
