Sex Appeal
You tell me!
Men
They're a complicated lot. Yet, as the old cliche' goes you can't live with them, can't live without them.
Male hotties
Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Amitabh Bachchan, Brad Pitt. But Andre Agassi is my absolute favourite! And I like Mathew Perry as Chandler from Gosh, am I missing anybody?
If I could change my sex for a day, who would I be?
That's a tough one, Hmm... I don't think I want to be a man in the first place. I'm perfectly happy being a woman. And what's more, I'm perfectly happy being me.
Media gossip:
I try to stay away from the media glare. You will rarely find anything good or bad written or said about me anywhere. The sad thing here is that no matter how nicely journalists behave with you, you never know what they think about you or when they suddenly change their opinion about you.
Relationships:
I think they are the foundation of your future. It's the things you share and the feelings you have for your partner that hold your relationship together. The factors most important to me are understanding, compromise, unconditional love and trust.
Hate:
I think that's too strong a word to be kept im my book of emotions.
Item numbers:
'Here Pheri'! That's the first movie that comes to mind. The 'Tun Tanak Tun' number has been my
favourite item number I agreed to it mainly because Ahmed (Khan) was the choreographer - he is my 'raakhi' brother. I just loved the song - it was so peppy. Initially, I was apprehensive about taking it on but now I have no regrets. Like 'Dhua' from 'Charas' is also one of my favourites. We shot it over a period of two days. I am happy with the way it has turned out. It did really well on the charts. I'm happy people appreciated it because we really worked hard.
'Bride And Prejudice':
That's one film I will never forget, in terms of everything. Working with a foreign crew was fantastic and a great experience. Of all the films that I've worked on, I'll always regard it as one of my favourites. I think Gurinder Chadha is one helluva woman.
Playing second lead:
I don't look at those roles as second leads, as the media puts it. For me, it's the character that holds the film. Nowadays, very few films are made with one actress. Using two or more actresses is commercially more viable.
Going South:
My stint down South was very interesting. I liked the people I worked with - I made lots of friends. I have done just two films but the experience was really great.
I want to work with:
Shah Rukh Khan, Adi(itya Chopra), Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Mani Ratnam... actually a whole lot of them.
Namrata in a nutshell:
Someone you won't regret knowing.
