Remember the phenomenal success of the audio tapes of Sholay dialogues and a score of other hit films of yesteryear? Well, Vipul Shah has sort of resurrected this marketing (and money-making) medium by recording the script of his Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Waqt -A Race Against Time recently.
"It's like listening to a play on radio, "says scriptwriter Aatish Kapadia. What's more, the narration will also help Kapadia look at the script afresh, since it has been a part of his life for many years. Vipul, on the other hand, says, "It will help me sort out all scenes and dialogues that need tightening . That will ensure that there is no unnecessary extra shooting." Like they say, a penny saved is a penny gained!
