Akshaye's lakshya!
He's one guy who doesn't bat an eyelid before paying someone else a heartfelt compliment be it friend, co-star or competitor. Talk to Akshaye Khanna about the one film he has enjoyed watching of late and he doesn't even pause for breath before mentioning Farhan Akhtar's latest Lakshya.
He says, "I have seen Lakshya and I thought it was one of the best films I have ever seen. Yes, I am aware that there are mixed reactions to the film but, at the end of the day, some films do well, some don't.
Personally, I was very floored by it. It's great cinema."
Point taken, but quiz Akshaye on his own lakshya and he says, "I want to do different roles each time, and do films slowly, steadily and successfully." That we can all see.
