No, it's not as if he promised to serenade them and then ditched them. What we're talking about is Bobby Deol's sincere attempt to attend a party thrown by the Commissioner of Income Tax recently. The actor was shooting for a song for Vikram Bhatt's Jurm, where he was serenading both Lara Dutta and Gul Panag, but since he was invited for the party, he begged the director to let him off. Vikram couldnt resist Bobby's infectious charm and gave in - to the disappointment of Lara and Gul. The pretty ladies, for once, lost out to another contender for the Deol's filmi affections. Of course, the IT Commissioner was simply delighted. Now howabout some lower income tax rates for the film industry, eh?
