Inspired by the prez
President APJ Kalam has made beggars out of actors! But on a serious note, it's all for a good cause. Nadeem Siddiqui, the man behind the film on beggars called Prarambh- The Beginning, claims that his inspiration came from the President's speech at the 50th National Film Awards function urging filmmakers to depict reality and spread the message to the common man. So when Siddiqui's friend, kumar A Dave narrated a humourous yet thought provoking love story which involved the reforming of a beggar, he immediately zeroed in on the project. Also, he's got Vijay Raaz and Gauri Karnik in the lead. Vijay plays Bholu the beggar, who is supposed to take a single step to make a new begining; and it all begins when Chamki (Gauri) comes into his life. We wonder if the President agrees that this is one story begging to be told? Over to our Prez!
