Hrithik - Cheque mate
We must admit that we get some of our daily does of titbits about Bollywood stars from our very own flock of paparazzi - the folks who trail behind the stars, come hell or high monsoon. Last week a photographer had this amusing tale to share: At one of Hrithik Roshan's press shows, he was distributing gift vouchers to the winners of a film-based contest.
After all the winners had received their prizes, Hrithik had one voucher of Rs 10,000 left. "One photographer asked for it, but Hrithik quipped. "If I give it to you, others will take offence and they will stop taking my pictures!" But when told that his group of cronies would distribute the value equally among themselves, a grinning Hrithik gave it away," recounts the lensman. Hrithik won a few points, even as the pleased camera-carrying bunch went away richer in pocket if not spirit!
