Aamir Stretches out his Rising!
After months of secrecy, there's finally some news about Aamir Khan's The Rising. The much delayed project went on the floors with great fanfare in November 2003, with the muhurat shot given by Prince Charles. After that, controversy dogged it's progress at every step. Now the latest rumour is that the release of the film, which was to be late this year, has been pushed back to next year; maybe sometime in June 2005, Simply because perfectionist Aamir wants his first release after almost three years (Dil Chahta Hai was his last release in January 2003) to be a super duper product.
However, with no one stepping forward to substantiate the reported news about the delay, it could just be another Rising rumour. Will Bobby Bedi and director Ketan Mehta Kindly step in and clear the clouds?
