Rani plays Pak beauty
Yash Chopra's next, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta, has been on a smooth roll, but it still remains untitled. Here's the latest we've heard about the project that's been quite a hushhush affair so far: Bong beauty Rani plays a Pakistani girl, while Preity hails from India. Strangely, insiders claim that it's not an Indo-Pak film, even though the characters are from the two countries. The details about the movie have not been revealed and are under wraps.
But then we will never rest with that, right? After some digging, we've gathered that Rani Mukherjee's role is inspired from the celebrated Pakistani human rights activist and lawyer - Asma Jahangir, who takes up for SRK in the film. None better that the Queen Bee, to play the Messiah of love. Kyun Yashji? Wonder what pretty Preity has to say to that?
