Milenge Milenge?
Is it love or is it 'friendship'? We wanted to know the truth, so we dialled Shahid (Kapur) and asked him if it was Kyun, Ho Gaya Na with Kareena, as it was with Vivek and Aishwarya, Bollywood's second hot couple.
"Kareena and I are seeing each other since 10 months. We are in a serious relationship. And are very happy together," admits Shahid, after finishing his day's shoot. Is marriage on the cards? "We are so happy that we would like it to remain this way. Haven't thought about the future, says the hunk." But he does add that "though Kareena and I have been talking openly about our relationship, we don't really want to hype it! Rather we want to tone it down because we need our privacy!"
Ok! So when do we get to see their off-screen chemistry on screen? Says Shahid, "We don't have inhibitions which one normally has whilst working with a new co-star because we know each other well. We share a great deal of comfort level! But that doesn't mean that I let my personal attachment come in the way of my work! I can't keep looking at Kareena for hours because I love her. So when it comes to shooting, we work as thorough professionals! We just deliver..."
Their films together? "Kareena and I are doing Fida which is my second film with Ken Ghosh after Ishq Vishk. The film co-stars Fardeen Khan and I am not playing a college boy in it unlike my first film with Ken. Fida is a romantic thriller, slated for an August 10 release." His other film with Kareena is Satish Kaushik's Milenge Milenge "which is a romantic comedy," informs Shahid. So till then, wait and watch this space for more developments.
