Distribution Troubles For Suniel
The Delhi U.P. territory seems jinxed for actor-producer Suniel Shetty. He got into a mess with the Delhi-U.P. distributor for his last film, Khel, even threatening to sue him for defamation. This time, the distributor wants to revise the price of Suniel's forthcoming Rakht, presented by Vijay Mallya.
Reportedly, he has asked for a reduction of Rs 50 lakh in the MG royalty price, and has said he wouldn't otherwise be able to take delivery. The haggling is telling on the release of the film, starring Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Amrita Arora Neha Dhupia Abhishek Bachchan (in a special appearance) and Suniel himself.
Will it come next month,as scheduled? Will Suniel consider the distributor's plea, or will he opt for a new distributor? Meanwhile, the distributor? Meanwhile, the distributor has stopped booking the film because he doesn't know whether he will distribute it!
