Nothing's impossible!
It was a battle between a big banner's big budget film and a low - butget sex film last Friday. While Rajiv Rai's Asambhav failed to open to even average houses, the nonstarcast and inexpensive Julie shook the entire industry with an earthshattering initial all over the country. Shows of Julie held as early as 9 a.m. on Friday (July 23) were fill, something that's generally seen in the case of star-studded action fares only. The explicit posters of the film, did the trick. As against this, Asambhav opened to dismally poor houses. At place, collections were in hunderds of rupees, not even thousands!
In some places in Maharashtra, shows of Asambhav had to be cancelled for lack of the audience on the opening day! Sex sells-and how! |
