Emraan Hashmi - Red Hot!
'If you've got it, flaunt it', is the mantra in showbiz today. So we have every actor and actress worth his and her retake, strut their stuff every time they appear on the silver screen. But they're in for a rude shock whrn, oblivious to themselves, they end up being exposed, all thanks to a wardrobe malfunction. Just like Janet Jackson's 'Nipplegate' controversy.
On a lesser scale, our Bollywood denizens give a better performance off screen than on screen. Ask Emraan HAshmi, who was shooting on such scene on the rooftop of a highrise in Bangkok. For one of their memorable love-making scenes for 'Murder', Emraan and Mallika were required to be perched on the rooftop. When they began filming the scene, there were hardly any passers-by to stop and watch them make love for the camera. But by the time they had canned the shot, a huge crowd had gathered on ground zero. And when the director Anurag Basu screamed "Cut. That was perfect!" the actors were all ready to get to the safety of their rooms.
And Emraan, oblivious to his state of 'brief' dressing, fortunately or unfortunately for the audience, stood up to bow before them. And only when the crowd cheered amidst laughter, did Emmi, as he's affectionately called, realize his 'brief' appearance and jump back into the room to avoid further embarrassment.
