An appeal for help!
Anurag Basu, The young director who has two films to his credit Murder and Saaya with a third film Tumsa Nahin Dekha waiting for release, is currently in a critical condition and has been admitted to a city hospital. The young director has been diagnosed with blood cancer.
Anurag's wife Tani is expecting her first child and has sent an urgent SMS appeal to all friends and well wishers who are non smokers and non drinkers. The message requests those with the A-negative blood group to come forward and donate blood to her husband. We hope that the young director will find many within the industry and outside it, who will come forward and help him. It is in testing times such as this that the true mettle of a human being and those around him is proved. Let's hope that Tani's appeal finds lots of takers and that Anurag and his family will get all the help and support they need. We also wish the director well and hope for a speedy recovery.
