Not too busy for the family
Juhi Chawla sure knows how to balance her professional commitments with her personal duties. She was shooting abroad for a fortnight for Gurdas Maan's Punjabi-English home production, Des Hoyaa Pardesh (Political Asylum in English) but she'd promised her family that she'd return to India on 21st July to celebrate son Arjun's first birthday. Once in America, she realised that the unit was behind schedule. Rather than leave the shooting incomplete or go back on her promise, Juhi did the best she could under the circumstances. She put in more hours of work to complete her scenes before boarding the flight to Bombay. That way, not only did she keep her producer happy but also reached home for Arjun's birthday. Needless to say, hubby Jai Mehta was beaming with joy when wife landed at the airport. Not to mention the little one who got the best birthday gift any mom could give her son on his first birthday.
