A different assignment for Farah Khan
Main Hoon Na director and renowned choreographer Farah Khan got engaged last month. And the man in her life happens to be the editor of her directorial debut, Shirish Kunder. The duo got engaged in a private ceremony in Goa in the presence of close friends and relatives. The marriage will probably take place sometime in September. Shirish Kunder started his career as an assistant to Renu Saluja and has independently edited films like Aankhen, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne, Armaan, Calcutta Mail, Matrubhoomi and Main Hoon Na. His forthcoming projects include films of Kamal Hassan, Sooraj Barjatya and, of course, Farah Khan, He also happens to be the first Bollywood editor to have cut a film on location on his laptop. Incidentally the duo fell in love not during the making of Main Hoon Na, but while editing its promos later.
