John bares all!
Hindi cinema is getting bolder...Not just the leading ladies, but leading men are also shedding their clothes at the drop of the hat. There's talk that John Abraham, who has the best physique in the business, will appear stark nude in Deepa Mehta's soon-to-be-released Water (earlier titled River Moon). But John is astonished by these reports. "On the contrary, I am wearing a dhoti, Kurta and spectacles throughout. Only for one scene would I be seen in a ganji. Nudity and in a film like Water? Not possible," he says. "Water is set in the pre-Independence era and my character is a follower of Mahatma Gandhi. Since the film is set in that era, there's not a single scene where Lisa (Ray) and I even hold hands. So where does the question of appearing raw in a film of this genre arise? All this talk is a mere figment of someone's wild imagination." John maintains that he knows where to draw a line. "I have no inhibitions when it comes to showing off my physique, but appearing nude on screen is out of question." he reasons.
