War of the item bombs
After the battle of the DJs and the skirmish of the awesome Khans, it's the war of the item girls that's the latest buzzword in Bollywood. Apparently Koena Mitra and Yana Gupta were the front-runners for the role of 'item bombs' for Sanjay Gupta's film. Rumours flew fast and furious about how Yana was supposed to do the numbers and then a whisper did the rounds that Koena had beaten her to it. Finally, the last we hear is that Koena is supposed to be doing two hot songs Saaki and Sun Soniyo in the movie. Interestingly, Koena claimed, some time ago, that she would never do an item number after her sexy song in Road; even turning down Aisa Jadoo Dala Re in Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee. Wonder what made her change her mind! A meaty role that came along with the items songs, no doubt!
