Earliest childhood memory: First Ad. I did at the age of 6, with sunil Gavaskar. I had lot of fun but had no idea what was happening around me.
Last CD I brought: Uuf Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai. I bought 5 audios. I bought DVD of Dil Chahta Hai, the latest one with the making.
First dish I made: A lot of Maggi in school and at the camp. At the camp we also had to make a lot of pao-bhaji but that was in a group.
Most embarrassing moment: I fell off the bike while shooting in ooty. Initially everyone was concerned and when thay saw that I was scratchless, they started laughing. I guess it's always funny for others when someone falls, but I was very embarrassed.
Most scary dram you ever had: That my movie is running to houseful and the electricity had gone off!
Wackiest dream you ever had: That I am the James Bond shooting people in an under construction building opposite my house.
I have broken the law: When I used to drive underage, but I have always been fond of cars and driving. I guess that's the boyish thing to do.
I am sporty: I've been a National Level Champion in Roller Skating and have won Silver Medals at the national competitions for three consecutive years begining 1995.
The most special thing someone did for me: My parents buying 150 tickets for their friends to watch my first film, which I thought was totally uncalled for.
Last gift I bought for someone: A watch for my sister from the last cheque I received for Uuf Kya Jadoo...
To describe myself in one word: Entertaining!
I am a good boy because: I enjoy home cooked food.
I am a bad boy because: I never call home when I am travelling and my mom get upset because of that.
Best Nickname I have been called: SAM, all my friends call me by this name.

The colour Red: Hot!
Music: Obsession. I play the Piano myself.
Bad Hair Day: Meeting! (When I have a important meeting and I have not put gel in my hair, it's a bad hair day! My hair is difficult to manage)
Pizzas & Pastries: Chocolate pastry and vanilla ice cream.

Rate my talent 1 to 5: 3, because I am just one film old and need space to grow.
Despite the fact that his family has nothing to do with showbiz, Sammir developed the acting bug in him as a kid. He was involved in modelling right from the age of six and did several ad-folms including Energy Bank(with Sunil Gavaskar), complan, Everyday Batteries, Glucon D, Perk, Close-Up, Bar One, etc. Besides ads, he was also involved in school plays, which ultimately gave him the inspiration and determination to take up acting.
While in junior College, he was chosen to feature in Rajshri Music's albums Valentine's Day and College Ke Din. The two projects gave him enough exposure and brought him a lot of modelling assignments and films from south. He has also appeared in music videos of artists like Gurdas Mann, Sonu Nigam and Nazia Hasan.
Sammir took up his first acting assignment in a kannada film called Nanna preethiya Hodugi (My favourite Girl), which released in april 2001. His performance in the film got him another Kannada film Preeti Marabararadu, which is yet to be released. However now that Sammir is all set for his Bollywood debut in Rajshri Production' Uuf Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai he has decided to focus on hindi films.
