We'd informed you earlier that Priyanka Chopra may lose Anees Bazmee's Benaam and that's what has happened. The reason: date problem. While the film's other artists- Ajay Devgan and Bhumika Chawla have allotted bulk dates, Priyanka was constantly struggling to adjust her dates for the film. So the producer of the film, Snigdha Patel, finally replaced Priyanka with Sameera Reddy.
(Priyanka and Sameera starred together in Plan earlier this year.) Priyanka was to play a prostitute in Benaam and had even shot for two days. She had to return her signing amount of Rs 11 lakh when the producer lodged a complaint with the IMPAA.
