Wanted - An item girl for Sanju
Wanted an item girl for the Sanju-Ash-Zayed starrer Shabd. The producers Pritish Nandy Communications, in association with MTV, have launched the campaign, currently on air on MTV, inviting young women with oodles of attitude to compete and perform an item number in the film. The response has been overwhelming: the MTV office is swamped with phone calls, emails and SMS messages from young enthusiasts wanting to take part in the talent hunt. The successes of Ishaa Koppikar in Kaante, Anusha in Mumbai Matinee, Mahek Chahal in Chameli and Jelena in Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao, all launched by PNC in item
number, has resulted in this interest. The auditions will be held on August 28 and 29 and the finals on September 3 at a grand event in Mumbai.
