Shilpa's cool about item acts
Shilpa Shetty, who's currently the flavour of Bollywood thanks to her impressive performance in Revathy's Phir Milenge, currently playing in city theatres insists that she's never going to say 'no' to item songs. "Let's not forget some of the biggest hits that I have to my credit are thanks to item songs like. U.P.Bihar from Shool. Consciously I am not going to seek item songs but I am not closing my mind to item songs either, they don't affect your career and at the same time give you enough visibility. In fact a small film or a badly selected film might spoil your chances as an actress more than an item song," she points out. But a little bird also tells us how Shilpa's become a bit more selective and wouldn't mind doing "off-beat films."
