Sponser Bollywood Bytes Rani's booked Rani Mukherjee has been roped in by Mira Nair for her next film, a screen adaptation of Jhumpa Lahiri' The Namesake. Reportedly Mira was very impressed after she saw Rani in Yuva. And we hear that Rani has "in principle" agreed to do the film. Ironically in Nair's new film, Rani plays the role of a Bengali girl too, like she did in Yuva, Rani who's currently in the US doing stage shows may start this film after she completes her tour.
