Logo? Ask Husain
Ask scriptwriter Javed Siddiqui how he came by the logo for his play, Aapki Soniya starring Sonali Bendre and he'll say he has filmmaker and renowned artist Mf Husain to thank. Apparently, the two are close friends and when Javed decide to read excerpts from his script to the maestro in order to get his opinion on it, Husain merely kept sketching with a pen and a paper. At the end of the narration, he handed Siddiqui the sketch - which had an image describing the emotions in the play so beautifully that Javed fell head over heels for it and immediately decided that this would be the logo for his play! With the recent Rs 100 crore deal Husain has signed, insurance for the future, too! Just in case...
