Hero at 81!
Our evergreen movie star, Dev Anand has just turned 81 (he even threw a bash for his friends and the media with energy levels as high as ever) and is going strong. But the actor still shies away from disclosing his exact age. When asked, he often remarks, "I'm as old as you think. I don't believe in this age thing, it's all in the mind!" For all his die-hard fans, (which of course, are a-plenty), his official date of birth is (correct us if we are wrong, Dev saab) September 26, 1923. And while actors of his age have either retired or faded into oblivion, Dev Anand has started another film, as ambitious as any he has made so far, titled Mr Prime Minister, with himself in the lead. And with this, we are even sure that the word 'retirement' doesn't exist in his dictionary! Hats off Dev.
