For the first time with Dobara
Muamar Rana, the actor, who is the first actor from Pakistan, to be working in India with a work permit from his government in india and sharing screen space with our Bollywood actress Mahima Choudhary in Dobara.
For him, it was a pleasure working in India. When he was offered small role in Dobara, he asked, Director Shashi Ranjan to arrange for a work Permit for him. Indeed they did because earlier when the bonhomie was as its peak, Pakistan Government allowed the film to be premiered in Pakistan. But as soon as the new prime minister took over the permission was withheld. For him, future lies on working together with two industries. Basically, Bollywood is too advanced in terms of technology and financial aspect and in Bollywood there is no dearth of talent both in terms of acting and creative writing. Jackie is one of the favourite actor of Muamar Rana but he got to meet the star for the first time only during the preview of the film because all his scenes are with Mahima only. And Jackie never turned up on the sets when he was shooting.
What about Rana's real life? He is married and has a four-year-old daughter. In India he found Indian press too much to handle and people want to know everything. Also number of press people is too much here.
With Dobara, Muamar is aspiring for more from Bollywood but now he is aiming for more fleshed out characters. "There are some offers but he is looking for lead roles now."
