What's in a name
The light-eyed debutant from Popkorn...Akshay Kapoor, is not ready to sit on his tush waiting for that push. He's been signed for another project already. Any guesses by whom? Pritish Nandy, Of course!
The actor seems to have become the filmmakers blue-eyed boy. He says, "I had great fun during the making Of Popkorn...and I am sure I am going to enjoy doing their next film, too."
And we heard something interesting about the boy-that AK's real name is sunny D'Mello. But he's quick to deny that story saying, "My name is Akshay Kapoor. My friends call me Sunny. I was brought up abroad for a major part of my life, where they couldn't pronounce Akshay too well. So they began calling me Sunny.
Also, I don't know where people get news about me being a D'Mello or a D'Souza. I guess it's just because I attend Church regularly that they think so." Worry not Akki for what's in name? It's fame that matters anyway.
