No, he's not standing for any party elections. But the actor is still consistently winning all the polls. The latest was one conducted by PETA recently and Amitabh Bachchan was adjudged the hottest (male) vegetarian alive for the third consecutive year, while Hollywood actress Alicia Silverstone won in the women's category.
Bachchan surpassed the legendary Dev Anand and new-Kid-on-the-block, Shahid Kapoor, also in the list of contenders. Actress Amrita Arora and TV anchor Mandira Bedi, both vegetarians, also did well for themselves. But what we want to know is how these popular personalities, in spite of being veggie, get their teeth into such 'meat'y roles!
