Tabu's disappearing act
Kamal Hassan isn't having much luck signing Bollywood actresses. Earlier he wanted Madhuri Dixit for one of his projects, but she got pregnant. More recently Kamal was ready to sign Tabu for a thriller. The actress agreed to the project but when Kamal reached Mumbai to get her signature, Tabu was nowhere to be found! "Tabu had played my wife in Chachi 420. Abd we've got along since then. I thought of her immediately for this role," said Kamal. However, the situation seems to have suddenly changed.
