Actress Sharmila Tagore, who has been offered the Censor Board Chief's kursi, is already spreading the good word. At a recent event in London, the veteran star gushed about the many benefits of Hindi cinema, explaining that is nationwide popularity in India has played a vital role in national integration, and is now helping the country achieve an international break through - what with Hindi films being screened in Leicester Square in London, where once English films were the sole attraction. The actress claimed that she herself has been continually experiencing the magic, uniqueness and overwhelming influence of Hindi cinema over the years, ever since she debuted with Kashmir Ki Kali. Tagore, who is also making a comeback of sorts with a role opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Virudh, has surely begun her new job on the right note. Although a certain Anupan Kher might not totally agree.
