Tabu - Anil have a date
The Amitabh Madhuri pairing just never did happen (save for that one 'ten number'); so when Somnath Sen decided to cast AB and MD for his next project, he was sure he was onto a big thing. But drat that stork! Mads had to back-out of the film when she realised she was pregnant a second time round. Now the latest is that instead of waiting for mommie to return to her 'boardroom', the director is now toying with the idea of casting another lead pair, Anil Kapoor and Tabu, instead of the original biggies. Maybe that's why, the popular Boman Irani too has been roped in. Apparently, the grapevinewhispers that it was the new cast that was immensely excited by the project - which was till then hanging fire - and pushed it gingerly. Talks followed. And now the phillum, which had almost died a natural death, is back on the rails.
