After Munnabhai M.B.B.S., Vinod Chopra Productions' next film Parineeta goes on floors with a start-to-finish 65-day shooting schedule in Darjeeling. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Raima Sen and debutante Vidya Balan. Vidhu Vinod Chopra himself has co-written the screenplay, this time with director Pradeep Sarkar. Nitin Chandrakant Desai is the consulting art director, while Rajkumar Hirani is the creative producer on the film. The schedule begins with a five-day shoot in Darjeeling (including a song on the famous toy train) followed by a strint in Kolkata and Mumbai. The film is slated for a 2005 release.
