Two much mush
Kareena Kapoor and boyfriend Shahid Kapoor have mastered the art of striking picture-perfect poses for shutterbugs and doling out the right soundbytes. Their 'friendship' isn't a publicity stunt (to boost prospects of their new film together, Phir Milenge, perhaps?), they insist.
"I'm tired of talking about my personal life. For now Shahid is the best thing to have happened to me, but then, I have a career too," points out Kareena.
Two confess that they hate it when the media zeroes in on them at public gatherings. "It's like we have no right to a life. It's disgusting at times," says Kareena. Adds Shahid: "Our off-screen rapport does help us work together in harmony. But it's not as if we are only going to work with each other."
Do they intend to make any commitments to each other yet? "Hey, I'm just 22. I need to prove myself as an actor first," quips Shahid. Agrees Kareena: "Marriage is not on the cards for at least five years. Beyond that, who knows."
