A Bold journey
Tell Sameera Reddy that there is a lot of buzz round her next release Musafir and she smiles. But then if you say that the buzz focuses more on Reddy's dare-bare act and she is even more amused. "Well," she smiles, "that's the conclusion people have drawn. And we have let the speculation continue because its creating a buzz." So what's the truth? "It's a film which has a soul. And the soul has a body," she laughs. Musafir is the story of a woman who is involved with more than one man. But it's not just for the sake of drawing in the crowds. The film justifies why she does what she does. Okay, it has some sensual, tantalising stuff but nothing sticks out like a sore thumb." The film also has a kiss between Reddy and Anil Kapoor and the lady wonders what the fuss is all about. "It's not the film's USP! Even while shooting the kiss Anil and I treated it normally."
