Govinda's take on Rani

Govinda has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons: Idle gossip about problems in his married life, not to mention an alleged affair with co-star Rani Mukerji and rumours that he has moved in with the actress. After keeping quiet all along, Govinda has finally decided to clear the air about him. "I want to work with Rani Mukerji as we get along well and look good on screen too," he is reported to have told friends, "but we have not been able to do more work together reasons for which the media is to be blamed. Rani is a mind-blowing actress and a very nice person. She is a great human being." He says that the two had to part professionally because she had been feeling very hurt for a long time about what people were saying. "As a result of all the rubbish and unwanted talk," he adds, "there were misunderstandings and hassles about dates. Soon rumours about our link-up were all over the press. To add fuel to fire the media took it upon itself to blow the whole thing out of proportion. Now it has become very difficult for us to do a film together."
