This Diwali, I have given my self an expensive gift- a new apartment and I will celebrate the festival of lights there. I am really looking forward to this special occasion but there is also an element of sadness since I will be alone. My Brother is posted in Jammu while my sister is in Delhi. But I will overcome the blues by getting together with a couple of friends with whom I plan to enjoy fire works. But I will begin the day with a lengthy lakshmi puja, which is integral to this day. And how can I forget to gorge on different sweets?
