Right after the news that director Kunal Kohli had managed a casting coupby signing Aamir Khan for a Yashraj film, comes the story that the Khan's leading lady may well be the vivacious Kajol. Considering that Kohli has been claiming the next will be a mature love story, this combination looks like the ideal pairing. "We didn't intend it to be a casting coup to make the headlines," said Kunal Kolhi, when we enjuried about the 'first time' teaming. "Aamir and Kajol are my favourite actors and they were the first people I thought of for this film. Of course, it wasn't easy to sign them on, and it did take some convincing. What can I say except that they have luckily consented to do my film and put their faith in me. Now it is up to me to live up to their faith. We will begin shooting next year. We are now in the process of signing up the rest of the cast, and that should be wrapped up soon enough." And if anyone's excited, it will be none other than Kadz fans, waiting to see their fave after such a long hiatus!
