One actress who seems to be on the right track is Sameera Reddy. The actress, with one stroke of her film-signing pen, is now changing her image from being the latest 'sex bomb' on the scene to that of a serious actress. With her de-glam role in Buddhadeb Das-gupta's film, Reddy is already impressing one and all - especially her renowned director. Apparently BD was so impressed by his new leading lady that he even mused that she reminded him of his late friend, actress Smita Patil. Coming from the Bengali director, that's one huge compliment Sameera is not going to gorget for a long time indeed! Now we're wondering what a certain Bong actress who refused the project has to say to that?
