Dil se - Big B's new act
Unlike many of his contemporaries and juniors, Big B doesn't like to scream from rooftops about his acts of charity. Bachchan has often been called a heartless superstar by a certain section of the media. However, the 62 year - old actor chooses not to correct people's misconception about him. Besides the various acts of charity that he's busy with this year (and not talking about), Bachchan has donated Rs 1 lakh to the makers of the National Award winning Marathi film Shwaas, India's entry to the Oscars (for the best foreign language film). The cheque is an effort to help the film's publicity campaign in the US, which is a costly affair and financially difficult for the makers of Shwaas.
