At Jet Speed...
All of us know of Shah Rukh Khan's high energy levels - no proof needed. Recently, freshly vitalised with his successes, the Khan showed some more of his zest, speed and punctuality. Shah Rukh was invited to the wedding of Gulshan Kumar's daughter in Delhi. Though he had other commitments in Mumbai, SRK made it a point to make a fleeting appearance at the reception. He took the late evening flight to Delhi and went straight to the hotel, where a special suite was booked for him. He took precisely five minutes to shower and change into fresh clothes. Then he went to the reception and wished the couple, posed for photographs and, even before other guests could get a glimpse of the star, he was on his way to Mumbai. "I think the whole thing lasted for only around 15 to 20 minutes. He took the night flight back to Mumbai," says a close friend of the late music baron. But what they do not know is that after he returned to Mumbai, he did some interviews for Swades and is now on his way to South Africa. Post which he will return for more promotions for the movie before he leaves for shows in Dubai. Whew! Even a Concorde would get tired reading this. Like we said, proof positive!
