Svelte, dark and dusky, she is a director's dream come true for the perfect item girl. However, Koena Mitra has decided that from now onwards, no more item numbers for her. "I did my first item number in Road. After that I was offered a lot of item songs but I kept on refusing as I didn't want to get slotted."
Even when she started as a model, her heart always lay in acting. "After modelling, the next logical step is always modelling and I feel very happy that I have realised my ambition," she smiles.
As of now, she is looking forward to her debut Musafir. "I am here to make my mark with total dedication and hard work. I have also accepted another film, this time opposite Ajay Devgun. I have a challenging role in the movie and it will help me to prove my self as an actress."
