Sam's on the right track
Sameera Reddy seems to be on a high ever since Musafir hit the screens. Filmmakers who think they can use the sultry siren as an oomph-dispensing machine need to do a reality check because Sameera is not just another item, as we found out. Of late she is scorching the screen with Anil in Musafir, but she's quick to point out: "I did think that we were doing some pretty hot stuff, but after seeing what my colleagues have done before this film, Musafir really seems like kid stuff," she chides. What is her take on the sex and-skin wave that has stormed the industry? "Being hot is not just about dropping clothes. It is very tricky to portray sexuality with that hint of sensuality. There has to be some adaa to skin show," she asserts. "I need some justification to the skin show." So has she rejected a lot of these socalled skin flicks? "Well I did reject a couple of them. I was offered Murder first, but I turned it down. There has to be a reason why I should expose. It can't be blatant. I wouldn't want to be seen in films like Hawas, Julie, Girlfriend." Are directors lining up some really good films for Sameera?
