And then marriage happened! Not many are aware that actor and funny-man Arshad Warsi first saw now-wife Maria Goretti at a college festival where he was the judge, and she the contestant. "I was told by my friend to watch out for this dancer who has the best smile. And when I saw her, it really did hit me, but it wasn't love at first sight," says Arshad. After the competition, Maria became a part of Arshad's troupe. "Maria and I were more friends than lovers. But it all happened during a trip to Dubai, where we were doing a show, and I gave her a can of beer (this Catholic girl doesn't even drink) during a party. And when I asked her about her feelings for me, she burst out crying, saying she loved me, blah, blah. That was the funniest and happiest moment of my life!" says Arshad. Beer, anyone? You could end up married!
