Pre-release peek a hit
Having a screening of a big film ten days before its theatrical release is unheard of in the film industry. But Anil Sharma did just that. He booked an entire theatre (Fame Malad) on Tuesday, and screened his keenly anticipated Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo not for the public in general. "I wanted to gauge the audience reaction to my film prior to its release," says Sharma. "So I decided to call in people from all walks of life and take their opinion. Their feedback is important. The purpose of having this screening was to help me understand my film even better and if need be, carry out some last-minute changes." And what was the feedback like? "Great! I'm on top of the world. The reactions have been overwhelming. There's nothing stopping my film," Sharma beams. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo releases worldwide on December 24.
