Blacking out the past!
He is in the news for his latest film, starring Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bachchan, but over the past year or so he has been talked about for another reason: his irate distance from the star he made even more luminously gorgeous on-screen, Aishwarya Rai. But Sanjay Leela Bhansali prefers to live in today, and 'black out' yesterday. The director and the actress became friends again not so long ago, taking their relationship to a new level. As Bhansali said, "It's the past now. A lot of incidents happen in life that ideally shouldn't, so we'd rather not mull over it. I can't undo what happened, neither can Aishwarya, but we can look past it, and we've done that. I'm glad the misunderstanding happened, because we are closer to each other today. That does not mean that all my future films will have Ash but, yes, if there's a story that needs her, I know she'll be there." We await the next chapter in that story with great eagerness!
