Bollywood's favourite gal!
It might be hard to grab hold of the elusive Queen Bee and even tougher to make her 'talk' unabashedly, but whatever Rani Mukherjee says is genuine (definitely not made-for-media quotes)... and typically modest. Or so it appears. If you quiz her on her whereabouts and her silence, she'll say the typical, "Let my work talk." Not that she doesn't love talking - you can catch her talking nineteen to the dozen - but she knows how exactly to crunch her words. Ask her about the fact that she is universally liked by the best 'camps' in the industry - the Johars, Chopras, et al - and pat comes the retort, "I think it's their niceness that they're so fond of me. And why they like me is a question you must ask them, not me. I can't talk about myself." Now that's a trifle too much modesty for an actress like her, we would say. C'mon Rani, blow your trumpet. Everyone else does, so why can't you?
