Overshadowed by 'bigger' star!
We did tell you that the Patel babe proved to be quite a sensation while shooting down South for a Telugu film. Well, with all that jazz happening down there, there was yet another thing happening along the line. And that too with a member of the same cast for the same film! Can you imagine? Well, what we didn't really know was that she had a star 'rival' in the same camp; but strangely, Amisha didn't mind losing out on any of the star-attention, either! After all, it wasn't any of her rival cats from back home; it was Telugu superstar, Jr NTR who attracted lots of attention from the mass wherever they went to shoot. An exuberantly Amisha told us, "You can't even begin to imagine how the audiences worship the superstars down South! I was shooting for a Telugu film with Jr NTR (the legendary NT Rama Rao's grandson); they consider him a close second only to Chiranjeevi. We had to shoot in the back of the beyond, in Araku Valley, more than two hours away from Vishakhapatnam, simply becuase shooting with Jr NTR in any place that's easily accessible to the public is impossible. Anywhere he goes, there are lakhs of people waiting to get a glimpse of him. He's a total craze! I was totally left amused by the experience." The vision of a slim 'n' shapely lass like Ms Patel being overshadowed by her filmi hero... that amuses us, too. But the south has always had its own preferences don't you think? Right Nagma, Jyotika, Khushboo...?
