Resisting temptation of any kind
We've often heard of older men falling for younger women. And writer-director Saurabh Shukla almost fell for the trap - but not in real life, only on-screen! Apparently when Shukla decided to direct a love story involving a balding middle-aged man wooing a Miss India finalist on the Internet, he had this overwhelming urge to cast himself as the hero - especially since he fit the physical description. However, better sense prevailed and he decided to curb his enthusiasm and gave the role to Rajat Kapoor instead. And just as well, since now he finds his hands full, just directing. Careful, Saurabh, giving into temptation of any kind can get you in trouble, you know!
Meanwhile Saurabh awaits the release of his next directorial venture Chehraa which stars the hit pair of Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu. The film is pegged as a thriller with Basu playing an independent young woman who is convinced that someone is out to kill her. Now that sounds chilling indeed!
